I'm so happy to finally have this plant available after 3 years of failed propagation,
woody-based perennial with distinctive pinnate leaves composed of two pairs of inversely heart-shaped leaflets on reddish stalks. Curious rounded flowers of yellow-green suffused with purple, about 3cm across and held close to the stems, produced from early autumn.
Grows up to 2m tall Well drained, fertile soil in full sun and a warm position. May be damaged by hard frosts but will usually regenerate from the base if cut back. In very cold areas, best grown in containers which can be moved into a cool greenhouse in winter.
